Maintenance Overview
The United Toll Systems, LLC maintenance philosophy is a step above the industry norm. We take a proactive approach to maintenance with regularly scheduled preventive activities and a unique active monitoring service to detect issues before they become breakdowns.
Many vendors focus on emergency maintenance and repairing system elements after they break. Because we manufacture most of the products that we deliver, we are able to provide high quality products, excellent maintenance, product support, and upgrades.
Our maintenance program, including the Maintenance Online Management System (MOMS) and digital monitoring tools, provides three levels of maintenance: preventive, predictive, and corrective.
Designed to facilitate maintenance
The UTS product design, development, and delivery cycles also includes consideration of all the UTS maintenance operations. Lessons learned from previous installations have been fed back into the design and manufacturing process. This continual improvement in field procedures and system design enhances the effectiveness of maintenance operations.
Operational experience led UTS to include hot-swappable hardware, redundant lane controller components, and automatic failover schemes in the Infinity s∞ Digital Lane Server design. Standardized interfaces allow for an easy upgrade to newer technology. We understand the importance of facilitating safe maintenance options and troubleshooting without lane service interruption.
