TekTrak™ Roadside Maintenance System
TekTrak™ is a patent-pending product designed by UTS to have Open Road Tolling equipment mounted on a track and rail system that can be easily installed and safely worked on from the side of the roadway, behind the guardrail. Our track and rail system allows the safe and precise transfer of each piece of equipment to and from its own operational location for installation and maintenance purposes. There is no longer any need for personnel to be in or over the roadway in order to install, tune, or maintain equipment that is mounted in a gantry.
The UTS TekTrak™ can not only be mounted to a custom gantry but may also be mounted to a basic, low-cost AASHTO-approved sign bridge, which is a common gantry system used on interstate highways and by Departments of Transportation all over the country.
[Note: the structural design of the actual gantry to be used must be based on the weight and sizes of equipment to be mounted on the gantry plus consideration for the appropriate environmental conditions of the intended location (i.e., hurricanes or winds, snow or ice, etc.). UTS can provide the weight of TekTrak™ itself for purposes of calculating specific loads by the gantry engineer.]
